Water Treatment for Every Tap in Your Home

Most homes need one well-chosen system, not four. Whole-home filtration takes chlorine taste and odor out of every faucet and shower. A water softener handles scale on fixtures and glass shower doors, and reverse osmosis gives you a dedicated tap for drinking and cooking water. UV water treatment adds a final disinfection step for households that want that extra layer.

About Water Filtration Frisco

Our company is small on purpose, and Frisco is home base for nearly everything we do. The job, as we see it, is picking equipment that suits your water and setting it in place carefully, giving the rooms around the plumbing as much attention as the pipes.

Many people put off a filter because they picture a messy, all-day disruption. We plan the visit so that does not happen. You know who is coming, what they will do and how your home will look at the end of the day, and if plans change, you hear from us before the visit, not during it.

How a Job Goes, Start to Finish

Most installs fill only part of a day, and the water is shut off for just a brief window.

  1. 1

    Start with a call

Tell us what bothers you, whether it is the taste, spotty glasses or a wish for cleaner drinking water. We ask some questions about your house and its plumbing.

  2. 2

    Water test and plain report

We test your water and sum up the results in a short report without jargon. The numbers decide which system, if any, fits your home.

  3. 3

    Your quote in writing

We suggest a system, give our reasons and list every part and labor charge. Take as long as you need to decide.

  4. 4

    The install

We show up when we said we would, protect the floors, put the equipment in and keep the water off as briefly as possible. Before packing up, we flush the system and check it for leaks.

  5. 5

    Walkthrough and cleanup

You see the bypass valve, the filter schedule and any settings. Then we clean up the work area and carry out our trash.

What Goes Into a System Quote

Your price comes from your house and the system that suits it. These details change the total the most, so you know what to expect on the quote.

You receive a written quote listing each part and labor charge, and we go over it by phone so your questions are answered before you decide.

Which system
A single reverse osmosis faucet at the kitchen sink needs less time and material than a full carbon tank on the main line or a softener paired with filtration. UV adds a lamp, a housing and a power hookup.
Home size and water use
More bathrooms and heavier daily use call for larger tanks and media beds so every shower keeps steady flow.
Placement
A loop already plumbed in the garage keeps labor low. Cutting into the main line, adding a drain or running power adds time, and the quote shows it.
Old equipment
Some jobs include taking out an old softener or filter and disposing of it properly. That appears as a separate line.
Installation for qualifying homes
Qualifying homes get standard professional installation with the system. When a setup needs more than that, we tell you what and why before you agree to anything.

What Frisco Homeowners Ask

How do I get rid of the chlorine taste and smell in my water?
City water is disinfected on its way to you, and that can leave a taste and odor in your glass and your shower. A whole-home carbon filter usually solves it because it covers every tap together. If the kitchen sink is the only place it bothers you, an under-sink reverse osmosis system may do.
How do I know if I need a softener?
Plenty of homes do not. A softener is worth it when hardness leaves scale on fixtures, spots on dishes or buildup in the water heater. We check your test results first and recommend one only if they back it up.
What does the water test show, and what do I get from it?
It tells us what your water actually contains, so the equipment fits it. You receive a water report that explains each reading in plain words, which keeps you from paying for a system that solves a problem you do not have.
Is installation part of the system price?
Yes, for qualifying homes standard professional installation comes with the equipment. Homes with easy-to-reach plumbing, like a garage loop or open room near the main line, usually qualify. If yours needs more, we explain the extra work and list it separately on the quote before scheduling.
Is the work covered once you leave?
Yes. Every system we install carries a 1-year workmanship warranty on installation-related defects. When we go over your quote, we explain how it applies to the equipment you choose.
How does UV water treatment fit in?
Water flows through a chamber past an ultraviolet lamp, adding a disinfection step with no chemicals. It usually goes in after filtration as an added layer for households that want more protection. It needs an outlet nearby and a new lamp every year.
Will installation day make a mess?
Very little, because we plan for it. Runners go down from the door, drop cloths sit under the work and tools stay off finished surfaces. At the end we wipe down, sweep and take every bit of packaging away.

How We Work Inside Your Home

Fitting a filter is the easy part. The care we take with your floors, walls and yard is what most people remember afterward.

  1. 01

Runners down before tools come in

We lay floor runners from the door to the work area and set drop cloths under every connection. Cabinets get a mat under the sink before we open a line.

  2. 02

Landscaping treated as part of the job

When a system ties in near an outdoor hose bib or a drain line runs outside, we work around beds and sprinkler heads. Anything we move goes back where it was.

  3. 03

One clear plan, shared with everyone at home

You hear where the equipment will go, when the water will be shut off and for how long. If someone else in the house will be home on the day, we are glad to walk them through it too.

  4. 04

Equipment sized to your water, not to a sales target

We start with a look at your water and how your household uses it. If a simple carbon system solves the problem, that is what we recommend.

  5. 05

A finish you will not mind looking at

Lines run square, fittings are labeled, and the bypass valve is easy to reach. We sweep, wipe down and haul away packaging before we go.
